Outside hours, voicemail and texts are checked first thing the next business morning. Same-day appointments are often available depending on technician routing - the booking calendar shows the earliest window.

Every visit starts with an $80 diagnostic that covers a full inspection and a written estimate. If you approve the repair, the $80 is credited toward the final bill, so on a job you go ahead with it is not an extra charge. There is no trip fee anywhere in our service area, and the price you approve is the price you pay.

We are a fully mobile service - we come directly to your address across the Bay Area. 1549 Franklin is our registered business office, not a customer-visit location. We handle all diagnostics, estimates, and repairs at your home or property. There is no walk-in counter, no parts pick-up, no service center.

What if I am outside your 22-city service area?

Our routine coverage area includes San Francisco, the Peninsula (8 cities), and Marin County (13 cities). If you are in a nearby Bay Area location not on our list - Oakland, Berkeley, Burlingame outskirts, etc. - call us and we will check if we have routing availability that day. Service outside the core area depends on technician schedule and may carry a higher trip charge.

Yes. FixitBay LLC is a Licensed Major Appliance Technician in the State of California, License #51001, issued by the Bureau of Household Goods and Services (BHGS), expires July 31, 2027. We carry full general liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage. License and insurance certificates available on request.
